Windward Village POA 2026 Meeting Dates

All Meetings begin at 5:00 PM at the Central Ridge Library, 425 W. Roosevelt, Beverly Hills, FL.

February 18, 2026 - Annual Owners Meeting

May 13, 2026 - Board Meeting

July 18, 2026 - Board Meeting

October 28, 2026 - Block Party Tiki Bar 5-7 PM

November 18, 2026 - Board Meeting

Election Committee for 2027 – 7 Board Positions will expire in February 2027

 In February 2027 all 7 positions on the Board of Directors will expire.
In preparation to fill the open positions we are now accepting “Intent to Run” letters from any member, must be in good standing, of the Windward Village POA.

If interested please mail your Intent to Run letter to Michelle’s Accounting 2535 N Reston Ter. Hernando, Fl 34442.

Letter must be received before October 1, 2026. You will receive confirmation of your Intent to Run letter within 5 days of receipt. If you do not receive confirmation, please call 352-450-4000 and leave a message.

Board of Director positions are for a three-year term.

Per Florida Statute 720 – if 7 or fewer qualified candidates apply, those candidates simply “commence service on the board. An election is not required unless more candidates are nominated than vacancies exist.

If an election is required, ballots will be mailed with your Annual Assessment no later than December 1, 2026 and must be returned no later than January 15, 2027. Ballots received with a postmark after that date will not be counted.

Per Florida Statute 720 Board members are required to complete 4 hours of continuing education each year.

Board positions are a non-paid voluntary position requiring +2 hours per month and attending at least 4 meetings per year.
